Local Burglary Message

Here’s an update on burglary locally.

On Saturday 26th September 2026 at approximately 20:30 hrs, an attempted burglary occurred at a residential property on Bush Hill. Four males gained access to a property through a gate, which was believed to have been broken at the time. They attempted to gain entry to the house through a ground floor window using crowbars. The males were disturbed by a resident inside the property and fled the scene.

Residents are advised to remain vigilant and ensure all doors, windows and gates are securely locked and please report any suspicious activity to police via 101, or 999 in an emergency.

Across London, we’re now arresting more than 1,000 extra criminals every month and seeing local crimes like burglary, robbery and theft start to fall, with ‘neighbourhood crime’ down 14%.
